Project Management

Hubrix Project Management (PM) brings planning and tracking into the same workspace as your AI tools. Organise work into projects, group projects under epics, plan in sprints, and track individual pieces of work as stories on a drag-and-drop Kanban board — then use built-in AI to draft stories, analyse them, and plan sprints.

The building blocks

ConceptWhat it is
EpicA large, company-level initiative that groups related projects together.
ProjectA container for stories and sprints. Each project has a Kanban board and a backlog.
SprintA time-boxed batch of stories (for teams working in Scrum).
StoryA single unit of work — a task, story, or bug — that moves across the board.
LabelA coloured tag you apply to stories for filtering and grouping.
MilestoneA target date attached to a project.

Two ways to work

When you create a project you pick a methodology:

  • Kanban (default) — continuous flow. Work moves across the board columns with no fixed time-boxes. Best for support queues, ongoing maintenance, and steady streams of work.
  • Scrum — sprint-based planning. Plan a backlog, pull stories into a sprint, run the sprint, then review velocity and burndown.

Both methodologies use the same board and stories — Scrum simply adds the sprint and backlog planning layer on top.

What's in this section

  • The Kanban board — columns, drag-and-drop, filtering and search.
  • Stories — fields, subtasks, watchers, labels, and links to other Hubrix items.
  • Sprints & backlog — planning, starting and completing sprints, and the burndown chart.
  • Epics & projects — creating projects, grouping them under epics, members and roles.
  • AI features — generate stories from a prompt, analyse a story, and plan a sprint.

Find Project Management under PM in the main navigation. The PM home page lists every project you can access as a grid of cards.

How PM fits with the rest of Hubrix

Stories can link to other Hubrix objects — an agent, a workflow, a research report, a document, or a chat — so the work item sits next to the AI artefact it relates to. See Stories → Links.
