Sharing Items

You can share any item in Hubrix with specific teammates. Sharing gives them access to the item directly — they don't need to search for it or ask you to send a link.

What can be shared

  • Custom Agents — share via the Sharing tab in the agent builder
  • Workflows — share via the Sharing tab in the workflow builder
  • Research reports — share via the Share button on the report view
  • Bulk jobs — share via the Share button on the job results page

How to share

  1. Open the item you want to share.
  2. Click the Share button (or open the Sharing tab for agents and workflows).
  3. Search for a teammate by name or email prefix.
  4. Choose an access level:
    • Viewer — read-only access. Can see and use the item but cannot modify it.
    • Editor — can modify the item (for agents and workflows; research reports and bulk jobs are always viewer-only when shared).
  5. Click Share.

The recipient receives an in-app notification immediately.

The "Shared with me" badge

Shared items appear in the recipient's sidebar under their normal section (Agents, Workflows, etc.) with a "Shared with me" badge to distinguish them from items the recipient owns.

The recipient does not need to do anything special to access a shared item. It appears in their list automatically after sharing. They can click it and start using it immediately.

Viewer access

A Viewer can:

  • Open and read the item
  • For agents: chat with the agent
  • For research reports: read the full report and export it
  • For bulk jobs: view results and export them

A Viewer cannot:

  • Edit the item's configuration
  • Delete the item
  • Share it further with others (except for agents, where editors can re-share)

Editor access

Editor access (available for agents and workflows) grants full editing permissions. Editors can modify the item and share it with additional people, but they cannot delete the item or transfer ownership.

Removing access

To revoke someone's access to an item:

  1. Open the item's Share dialog or Sharing tab.
  2. Find the person's name in the access list.
  3. Click Remove.

Their access is revoked immediately.

Revoking access does not delete any work the person did while they had access — for example, comments they left on the item remain visible to others.
